Pool Builders of Asheville is a trade name of Oak and Ivy Builders, LLC. This policy covers poolbuildersasheville.com and explains what we collect, why, and who else may see it.
What we collect
Only what you type into a form or tell us on the phone: your name, email address, phone number, the property address if you give it, and whatever you write about your project.
Our website host also records standard technical information, which covers the page you visited, roughly where in the world the request came from, and the type of device. We use analytics to see which pages people find useful. Calls placed from this site may be routed through a call-tracking service that records the number you called from and, where the law allows, the call itself.
Why we collect it
To answer your inquiry, quote your project, arrange a site visit, and do the work if you hire us. We keep inquiry records so we can pick up a conversation you started months earlier, because pool projects often take a while to decide on.
⚠️ Sharing your inquiry with other companies
Read this part. We do not take on every job that comes to us. Some projects are outside what we do, outside the area we cover, or better suited to another contractor.
When that happens, we may pass your inquiry, meaning your name, your contact details and what you told us about the project, to another company we believe can help. We do this so you get an answer rather than silence, and we may receive a referral fee when we do.
If you would rather we did not, say so in your message or reply to any email from us and we will keep your details to ourselves. You can also ask us at any time who, if anyone, we passed your inquiry to.
Who else sees your information
- Service providers who run things on our behalf, including website hosting, email delivery, call tracking, analytics, and any scheduling or invoicing software we use.
- Subcontractors and suppliers, where the work requires it. For example, a supplier needs a delivery address, and a trade needs to know where the job is.
- Another contractor, in the referral case described above.
- Anyone we are legally required to give it to.
We do not sell your information, and we do not hand your details to advertisers or list brokers.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not turn into work: a few years, so we recognise you if you come back. Records of jobs we did: as long as we are required to keep business and tax records. Ask us to delete your details and we will, unless the law requires us to keep them.
Cookies
Cookies are used on this site for analytics and, if you called or submitted a form, for call tracking. You can block cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop contacting you. Email info@poolbuildersasheville.com and we will deal with your request promptly.
Children
Nothing on this site is aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top.
